The quintessential need of any summer time plan – a TRIP TO THE BEACH. At EEEmpire, we’ve pioneered this “Lets go to the Beach” movement. Many years ago, Jasanya Jones, then a core member of EEEmpire rounded up her friends and hosted a Beach Lime for her Birthday. It was this simple act that would change the future forever. The video below is a raw clip from the first time the Beach Lime moved from Maracas to Tyrico Bay and became an event. Circa 2011.
Throughout the years, EEEmpire has hosted 19 beach limes. In Tobago, on Tyrico Bay and now in Mayaro Bay. This is what our beach lime looks like now:
These Beach Limes also gave birth to the EEEmpire Beach Festival, held annually on Republic Day, which embraces all the elements of the beach in a grand way.
Palance on the Party Bus
Getting to the Beach was always fun.
Still, unable to accept the status quo, EEEmpire has introduced the Free Drinks Party Bus to their NAEBL concept. Now the action starts earlier in an intimate, moving setting. This bus is equipped with attendants, shots, copious amounts of liquor and a DJ! With enough room to stand, it isn’t unusual to experience the occasional bruck out session on the way to Mayaro.
Walk in the Water
Usually, it is a promoter’s objective to transform the venue – a car park or large open space. For NAEBL, our objective is the opposite. We want to leave the entire beach as untouched as possible while enjoying the freedom of liming on the Beach.
Unlike all other local beach parties, at NAEBL the beach is private and secure but there is no intimidating blockade between the patrons and the water. This allows for sea bathing or just a long stroll on the beach. On the day of the Beach lime patrons would spread beach mats and sit and play cards and catch up with the cool sea breeze. Ladies would be modeling for our photographers on the beach, striking their best pose in their bikinis.
Play on the Beach
Patrons challenged their friends to a game of beer pong or life sized Jenga. These games have become a staple at all EEEmpire limes forming the perfect conversation starter as Jenga especially has a tendency to escalate quickly.
Dance on the Beach
As the law, after the sunset, the vibes turned all the way up. By then all the games were moved, leaving a large dance floor. Here all unite as one, ladies in their bikinis dancing the night away! NAEBL vibes isn’t for the faint of heart, only the truest could survive.
Here are a few closing words from Heather and Ken.
